With mailing lists, generally, you'll receive a free coupon or promo code that allows you to redeem them for a free sample. Keep in mind that you may have to complete some specific tasks, but there's always free stuff in the end.

2) Online start-ups and brand-name companies understand the importance of consumer data. Lucky for us, they're willing to pay for it with cash compensation and prizes. Online surveys are a cool new way to get free stuff. Yes, they'll take up a bit of your time, but those companies want to pick your brain and throw some free stuff your way as a thank you.
