Get Free Stuff (Without Getting Scammed!)
It's easy to get free stuff, you just gotta know where to look! BUT, beware of scams disguised as a free samples opportunity. Those scammers are out to get your personal information, so be careful! Read these following steps carefully, and we'll show you the best way to get freebies AND avoid getting scammed.
1) Set up an an extra email address for receiving
giveaways and promotions. Never give your private email address out to just
anyone. As well, when you register to get free items with a company, they'll
ask you for your email address. It makes sense since they want to email you
their promotional information. However, if you do not have an extra "just
for promos" email address, then your regular email will get bombarded with
offers. Emails from friends and family will get lost in your Inbox mess.
2) DO NOT give out personal information. Yes, you'll
need to provide your name, mailing address, and email address, no doubt. But,
some sites ask for extra info like your birthdate so that they can send you
"Happy Birthday" promos. Don't give out any further information than
that. Additionally, never, ever, EVER give out your social security number or
credit card information for promo or sample items. Avoid those websites like
the plague!
3) You should be realistic and cautious of expensive
giveaways beyond a simple product sample. If you see an offer that interests
you, search the site for a number to call for a clearer explanation on their
offer. It's better than giving away your personal information out blindly. Or,
you could do a quick Internet search for feedback on that promo. Whether it is
a legit promo or not, you will find discussion threads and chat rooms on it
with the info you'll need to decide.
4) Visit legitimate, brand-name company websites for
free samples. Normally, you're asked to register with them. If you use their
product regularly, the manufacturer often continues to mail you coupons or
email discounts.
5) If you like a specific product, write to its
manufacturer. Companies love hearing how consumers use their products. Don't be
surprised when they send you a bunch of free samples.
6) Get free stuff from allfreestuff on a regular basis by learning how
to coupon. Yes, couponing does take time and patience, but, if you put in the
effort, you can actually get free grocery items every week. Do an Internet
search on couponing, and you'll find many websites that explain the couponing
process. Also, a lot of them give you a heads up on weekly deals and how
members manage to get most of their shopping done at an extremely low cost or
for free.
